In the event that you lose or break your iPhone, here are the steps to restoring a mobile key on a new device.

Backing up your mobile key using iCloud Keychain is what allows for this restoration.

  • Download Theya on your new iPhone

  • Sign in to iCloud account

  • Launch the Theya app

    • Sign in with the same email address used previously with Theya

  • Perform a Health Check on your mobile key

    • Located under "Key Management" of your vault

  • Restore the mobile key

    • Since this is new device, Theya will display "Mobile key is not found on the device" and ask if you would like to restore from your iCloud backup.

    • Confirm the prompt to restore the key.

  • The key will be restored to your new iPhone, allowing you to access your vault and perform transactions.
