You can access your vault details even if Theya goes down. Here's how:

  • Navigate to your vault's home page and 'Vault Settings.'

  • Select 'Vault Information' to see the vault type, derivation scheme, and public keys.

    • Toggle 'Show Public Key(s)' to reveal.

  • Select 'Export Output Descriptor' to see the vault's wallet descriptor

    • To save in the cloud, locally on your phone, or airdrop to your computer, select 'Export Output Descriptor' again.

What Are Vault Details For?

  • A user is conducting a sovereign recovery and needs their output descriptor.

  • A user wants to store a personal copy of the output descriptor for redundancy.

  • A user wants (or is required) to disclose public keys for accounting purposes.

Your public keys and output descriptor can't be used to access your funds, but they should be stored securely to prevent misuse. Unauthorized access can potentially monitor your transactions or link addresses to your identity. If you export and store them, ensure they are kept securely to maintain your privacy and security.
