Health checks are a feature that ensures all your keys are operational, allowing Theya users to regularly check the functionality of their 2-of-3 multisig or single-sig vault.

Here's how to perform a health check on your Trezor.

  • Go to Key Management from the vault homepage

  • Select your Trezor device key, then select Request Health Check. Instructions will be sent to your email.

    • Ensure your device is within reach and you have the USB cable provided with your device.

  • Click the โ€˜Start Health Checkโ€™ link provided in the email. This will open a new browser tab for the trezor.io web application.

  • Connect your Trezor to your computer via USB and follow prompts on the web application.

    • You will be asked to activate the device and grant permissions for the Trezor web application to read and export public keys from the device.

    • Select 'Standard' or 'Hidden Wallet' (requiring a passphrase) depending on how to initially set up the device.

  • With your Trezor now connected, you can โ€˜Check Key Healthโ€™.

  • Grant permission again to sign a Bitcoin message

  • Follow instructions on device, confirming signing address and Bitcoin message.

  • Once you confirm the Bitcoin message, your key signature will be verified and the Theya web application will display the health status of your paired device.
