Health checks are a feature that ensures all your keys are operational, allowing Theya users to regularly check the functionality of their multisig or singlesig vault.

Here's how to perform a health check on your Coldcard.

  • Go to Key Management from the vault homepage

  • Navigate to your Coldcard device key, then select Request Health Check.

  • Instructions will be sent to your email.

Ensure your device is within reach and you have the USB cable provided with your device or microSD card, SD card reader, and power-only USB cable for an air-gapped signature process.

If connecting via USB (USB virtual disk mode), you will need a USB cable compatible with the device.

*Health Check email

  • Click the โ€˜Start Health Checkโ€™ link provided in the email.

    • This will open a new browser tab for the Theya web application with detailed instructions.
