Following the creation of your multisig or singlesig vault, here’s how you receive funds:

  • Start from your Theya Vault homepage.

  • Click the ‘Receive’ option to initiate the process of creating a recipient address for your vault. (Theya creates a new, unused address for your vault to protect your privacy.)

  • Use this address as the destination when creating a transaction from the sending wallet (i.e., mobile wallet, desktop wallet, exchange withdrawal process, etc.)

    • A QR code corresponding to this new address will be displayed, which can be scanned (i.e., when sending from a mobile wallet).

    • A string of letters and numbers representing your vault address is provided when manual copy/paste functionality is required.

*Example of where to paste your vault address in Blue Wallet.

  • Select a desired transaction or withdrawal speed. (Keep in mind that transaction fees are variable and can change based on the Bitcoin Network's current activity).

  • Confirm the receiving Theya Vault address is correct, then authorize the transfer of funds.

  • Your bitcoin transaction has now be broadcasted to the Bitcoin Network!Your

Theya Vault will display the transaction is pending until 3+ confirmations by the Bitcoin Network.

  • Monitor the status on the vault homepage, or click through and select ‘View on explorer’ to open mempool.space.

  • After the transaction is confirmed, your new balance will be displayed at the top of your vault homepage.

*Example of confirmed transaction from CashApp. Note: Because this is an exchange withdrawal, the fee displayed in mempool.space is the batched transaction fee paid by CashApp (not the priority fee selected and paid by the user).
